In 2000, when Elizabeth General Medical Center and St. Elizabeth Hospital consolidated to form Trinitas Hospital and Trinitas Healthcare Corporation, Trinitas Health was also formed as a corporate entity that can engage in for-profit activities. Trinitas Medical Group falls under Trinitas Health.

Our Physicians
The doctors who are part of Trinitas Medical Group have been selected for their dedication to patients and their dedication to excellence. This combination is the cornerstone upon which Trinitas has continued to build. For more than 140 years, acute medical care has been delivered by Elizabeth General Hospital and Dispensary, St. Elizabeth Hospital and Alexian Brothers Hospital. Hundreds of thousands of people in Elizabeth, Union County and the surrounding towns and cities have all been cared for at one of our hospitals in Elizabeth. Over the years, many of our patients and their families have moved to surrounding towns. Trinitas Medical Group is extending into these areas to bring Trinitas-branded care to you, where it's most convenient for you to access.
